Do I need WiFi to set this up?
No. It runs on cellular and comes with it's own plan and cellular modem that works with AT&T, US Cellular, and T-Mobile — so it works at properties with no internet at all, and keeps working if your WiFi goes down along with everything else.
What if a renter unplugs it or messes with the thermostat?
You'll get an alert the moment the reading crosses your line, whether that's the heat someone cranked up or the power that got cut off. It doesn't need anyone's cooperation to keep watching.
How fast do I actually get alerted?
It checks conditions every 60 seconds. If a reading crosses your limit, the alert goes out immediately — Routine data readings are logged to the app every hour and persist for up to 1 year.
What happens after the first year?
You can renew service at a flat $79.99/year directly in the app. One plan, no tiers, no surprise upsell partway through.
What happens if my monitor stops working while it is under a subscription?
We will mail you a replacement monitor with a label to return the original monitor.
